Second Studio (IInd Studio) presents Vicolo del Bologna, part of Campo di Colore, a collection of hand-knotted rugs made of wool, linen and silk (botanical), that distill the rich hues and dynamic energy of Rome into woven form. Inspired by the city’s shifting light, historic facades, and the rhythm of its bustling streets, each rug pays homage to its chromatic depth and vibrant atmosphere. Entirely handcrafted in our workshop, each piece in the collection is a testament to exceptional artistry, where time-honored techniques merge with contemporary expression. The designs evoke a sense of movement and color—sunlit ochres, deep terracottas, and shadowed blues—seamlessly blending tradition with modern sensibility. Reflecting the ever-evolving essence of place, Campo di Colore offers bespoke customization in both scale and palette.
